Policy Focus

EOI is currently focused on developing pragmatic policy solutions that focus on  retirement security, public revenue and spending, family leave insurance, and early childhood education.

We're creating sensible solutions for the greater good by putting sound public policy ideas into practice that answer important economic questions shared by families across Washington State, such as:

  • Will my child get a good education?
  • What happens if my company stops covering my spouse's health insurance?
  • How will I make ends meet if I lose my job?
  • How can I make sure my child is cared for by educated and skilled childcare workers?
  • Do I have a pension policy to keep me above poverty when I retire?
